Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to deliver mechanical energy into targeted tissues. It may be used as an adjunct to physiotherapy to help manage pain, support tissue recovery and improve movement in selected musculoskeletal conditions. Your physiotherapist will determine whether ultrasound is appropriate based on your assessment and overall rehabilitation plan.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy uses focused mechanical sound waves to stimulate the tissues being treated and support the body’s natural healing processes. It may be used as part of rehabilitation for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis elbow and other persistent tendon or soft-tissue problems. Treatment is combined with appropriate exercise and rehabilitation rather than used as a standalone solution.
